Barr Transportation LLC is hiring School Bus Drivers to safely transport students and other passengers to and from designated locations with a positive, professional attitude.

Positions available are part-time or full-time, with split shifts for morning and afternoon routes and potential mid-days. Competitive hourly pay and opportunities for overtime accompany a friendly, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland CDL Class B with Passenger (P), School Bus (S) and Air Brake endorsements is required.
• DOT physical, drug screen, and background check are mandatory.
• Clean driving record with a strong safety history and reliable performance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain order and safety among passengers during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, school staff, and parents as needed.
• Report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
