Job summary

Top Score Education is seeking part-time, in-home SAT/ACT tutors for the DC metro region (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia). Sessions run after school (4-10 PM) and on weekends, offering flexible scheduling and the chance to travel to student homes within 30 minutes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years tutoring SAT/ACT, a 95th percentile score, and a passion for building positive relationships with students and families. Training is provided, with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

2+ years of SAT/ACT tutoring experience.
SAT/ACT score at or above the 95th percentile.
Strong organizational skills and time management.
Excellent communicator and team player.
Willing to travel up to 30 minutes for in-home sessions.

Responsibilities

Deliver 120-minute private, in-home SAT/ACT tutoring sessions in the DC metro area.
Create customized lesson plans to address individual student goals.
Maintain consistent, positive communication with parents and students.
Collaborate with Top Score team to track progress and refine tutoring strategies.
Complete 50–60 hours of paid training to be equipped with tools and strategies.
