Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking an experienced RVT to join our busy, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in Fresno. This full-time role focuses on assisting doctors, preparing medications, and providing compassionate client service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a current RVT license, has veterinary technician experience, and is comfortable with anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, phlebotomy, and critical care support.

Qualifications

• Current RVT license is required.
• Previous veterinary technician experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology is desirable.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with appointments and procedures.
• FIll prescriptions and prepare medications.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs; assist with anesthesia monitoring.
• Maintain the treatment room and medical equipment; ensure proper animal handling.
• Provide compassionate and professional client service and collaborate with the hospital team.
