Job summary

Community Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 19-bed Post Interventional Cardiac Area (PICA). You will collaborate with a dedicated cardiac team to care for patients with high acuity as they recover from procedures.

• Maintain RN-to-patient ratio of 3:1 depending on acuity
• Collaborate with a close-knit cardiac team to ensure safe, efficient patient recovery

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our 19-bed Post Interventional Cardiac Area (PICA), you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a close-knit team, all while caring for a wide acuity of patients, including recovery of vascular access sites and sedations. In this fast-paced environment, you can expect an RN-to-patient ratio of 3:1 depending on patient acuity. Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE)or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificaterequired
• Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practiceproficiencyrequired

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of Californiarequired
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)required

• ACLS - Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
