No two days in emergency nursing are ever the same. You’re a multitasker who can react quickly, prioritizing patients based on medical necessity while providing emergency triage. As part of our ER team, you’ll partner with experienced clinicians to deliver stabilizing care, including IV starts, Foley catheter insertions, and assisting with chest tube insertions.
To thrive as an ER nurse, you should demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking, and a willingness to engage in additional projects such as patient experience initiatives. Most importantly, you should be energetic and motivated to provide quality care while maintaining patient dignity.
Compensation: Base rate plus shift differential.
Incentives: Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus; up to $10,000 education assistance (for graduates within 5 years).
