Humboldt Park Health in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced ED RN to join our team. The role involves providing, supervising and documenting nursing care per physician orders, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate electronic health records.

Required are 1+ years ED experience, current RN licensure, CPR certification, and an associate degree or equivalent. 12-hour shifts are available, and we welcome experienced ED RNs to apply.

Mansioni

• Plans, provides, supervises, and documents professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Charts observations and activities related to patient care in electronic health record.
• Provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, infection control and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
• Collects blood specimens by venipuncture or micro techniques for laboratory analysis necessary for patient treatment and diagnosis.
• Operates equipment that is needed to perform department specific duties.

• Pay or shift range: $52 USD to $55 USD

Requirements

1 or more years of ED experience Required.

Current RN Licensure

CPR Certification

Medical Surgical experience or critical care experience
