Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to join Farr 2, a fast-paced 28-bed acute medical unit with telemetry in Boston. You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, 1–3 years of experience, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate required.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments as part of the nursing process.
• Coordinates patient care and directs assistive personnel to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with other health professionals and communicates effectively to support patient and family needs.
• Maintains mandatory education requirements and pursues professional development and quality improvement activities.
