Job summary

Boston Standard is seeking an experienced Residential Service Plumber who can diagnose, service and repair residential plumbing systems, talk to homeowners, present the right options and get the job done right.

You’ll handle water heaters, tankless systems, fixtures and leaks; troubleshoot issues; explain findings and options; provide estimates and complete repairs safely. This full-time on-site role offers a steady workflow, a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential service plumbing experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working directly with homeowners.
• Comfortable presenting options and recommendations to customers.
• Knowledge of water heaters, tankless systems, fixtures, piping and common residential plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair residential plumbing systems
• Handle water heaters, tankless systems, faucets, toilets, piping, leaks, sump pumps and other residential plumbing needs
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend the right solutions
• Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners
• Provide estimates and present repair and replacement options
• Complete repairs and installations safely and correctly
• Keep customers informed throughout the job
• Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
• Keep your truck, tools and work area organized
• Deliver a great customer experience from start to finish
