Job summary

Town & Country Services in Tonica, IL is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair HVAC systems while delivering professional customer service to homeowners.

Qualifications

Hands-on residential HVAC experience required.
Strong technical skills and customer service commitment.
Experience with furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components.
Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Willingness to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components.
Identify mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues and determine the appropriate solutions.
Respond to residential HVAC service calls and provide professional, reliable customer service.
Test system operation, check equipment performance, and verify that repairs are completed properly.
Inspect HVAC components, including thermostats, motors, electrical connections, filters, and other system parts.
Explain technical issues, service recommendations, and repair options clearly to customers.
Complete service documentation, maintenance records, and other required paperwork accurately.
