Kitchen Tune-Up Buffalo is seeking an Experienced Remodeling Carpenter to lead residential kitchen projects, installing cabinets, trim, molding, doors, and hardware with a focus on finish quality.

You will work independently and with installers, read project specs, and maintain a clean, professional job site in customers' homes while delivering high-quality craftsmanship. 5+ years of carpentry experience is required, with a four-day workweek and internal growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry or finish carpentry experience in residential remodeling.
• Strong cabinet installation and trim/fine finish skills.
• Ability to read measurements and follow project specifications.
• Comfortable working independently and with a team on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential kitchen remodeling including cabinet installation, modifications, trim, crown molding, doors and hardware.
• Complete high-quality finish work and maintain craftsmanship standards.
• Work independently and with other installers to complete projects efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Perform residential kitchen remodeling work, including cabinet installation, cabinet modifications, trim and finish carpentry, crown molding, doors, drawers, hardware, and cabinet accessories.
• Complete detailed finish work with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Work independently and collaborate with other installers to complete projects efficiently.
• Read measurements, follow project specifications, and troubleshoot installation challenges.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site while working in customers' homes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry, finish carpentry, residential remodeling, or renovation.
• Strong hands-on carpentry skills, particularly in cabinet installation, trim work, and finish details.
• Experience with kitchen remodeling is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership of assigned work.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for project communication and job tracking.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical carpentry work, including lifting and handling materials.

Experience

5+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or residential renovation experience preferred. Ongoing training and coaching provided.
