Job summary

Chads Design Build Madison, WI is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team on residential remodeling projects including kitchens, baths, basements, and additions. You will read blueprints, perform finish carpentry, and collaborate with project managers to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
• Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Personal hand tools required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry on residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Complete framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other detailed finish work.
• Work closely with project managers and fellow team members to keep projects on schedule.
• Help maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites.
• Troubleshoot field challenges and contribute practical solutions.
• Mentor less experienced carpenters and lead by example.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers throughout each project.

What You’ll Do
