Qualifications

  • Preferred 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician.
  • Licensed or certified as Veterinary Technician/Assistant preferred.
  • Experience in emergency, ICU, GP cases preferred.

Description: Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician/ RVT (Hourly wage $25 to $35/ hour minimum 3 years experience - depending on skills)

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience (preferred) - time spent in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program will also be considered
  • Registered, Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician/Assistant (preferred) (RVT, LVT, CVT/CVA)
  • Emergency, ICU, GP experience (preferred)
  • Experience in the following skills: Venipuncture, Restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Assessing Vitals, Medical Record Notation, Intubation/Extubation, Monitoring Under Anesthesia, Minor Drug Calculations, Dentistry, Radiographs, post-surgical care, Fecal flotation and interpreting results
