Job summary

MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking experienced registered nurses to fill part-time and full-time night roles in a combined ICU/IMC unit. You will provide skilled nursing care to medically complex patients in a high-acuity environment and collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and an active MD RN license with BLS certification. Prior ICU or critical care experience is preferred, and MedStar offers generous benefits and opportunities for

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking experienced RNs to fill part-time and full-time night roles in combined ICU / IMC.

Unit Highlights

Combined ICU/ IMC with 23 beds
Mainly medical patients with some cardiac and invasive monitoring
Dedicated Intensivist on staff making acuity determinations
Excellent level of care and focused on Continuity of Care for nurses.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
