Job description

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to ensure company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
2. Manage operational procedures including incoming and outgoing shipments, merchandise organization, and warehouse inventory management.
3. Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completing job assignments while maintaining records of time and production.
4. Track and report activities to designated plant personnel.
5. Monitor warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.
6. Investigate accidents according to the company’s procedures, if necessary.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open communication across all organizational levels.
• Perform assigned projects as instructed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• At least 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg, with weight depending on the facility.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $91,100.00
