Qualifications

• Strong real estate conveyancing experience including purchase and sale, refinances, and REO transactions.
• Proficiency in title review, clearance, and preparing related documents.
• Experience preparing closing packages and settlement statements with accuracy.
• Comfort with digital closing platforms and paperless workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attorneys, lenders, and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files with deadlines.
• Knowledge of ALTA Best Practices or willingness to learn and apply them.
• Previous experience as a real estate paralegal or closing specialist in a law firm or title company.

Role Description

The Experienced Real Estate Paralegal will support residential real estate transactions from offer through closing, working closely with attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing closing documents and settlement statements, and coordinating with lenders, brokers, and other parties to ensure accurate and timely closings. The role involves analyzing title searches, identifying and helping resolve title issues, managing file documentation in digital systems, and maintaining compliance with ALTA Best Practices and internal procedures. The paralegal will communicate regularly with clients to provide status updates, obtain required information, and address routine questions, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fall River, MA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in title review and clearance, including analyzing title searches, resolving title issues, and preparing related documentation.
• Experience preparing closing packages, settlement statements, and lender-required documents with a high degree of accuracy.
• Comfort working with digital closing platforms, document management systems, and e-signature tools to support a paperless workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, and clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple files, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ALTA Best Practices and compliance standards, or willingness to learn and apply these requirements.
• Previous experience as a real estate paralegal or closing specialist in a law firm, title company, or similar environment.
