Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking two experienced Radiation Therapists to join an outpatient cancer center in Valdosta, Georgia. You will work with an experienced oncology team using Elekta equipment to deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of clinical experience, ARRT certification, and a patient-centered approach. The role offers a strong sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with a Monday–Friday day shift and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification/registration in Radiation Therapy required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
• 2-3+ years of Radiation Therapist experience preferred.
• Experience working independently in a clinical radiation oncology environment.
• Experience with Elekta equipment is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of adult and geriatric patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, physicians, and teams.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Complete simulation rotations and treatment setups with high accuracy.
• Construct immobilization devices and fabricate treatment devices as needed.
• Perform treatment imaging and follow departmental protocols.
• Maintain accurate treatment records, scheduling information, and patient charges.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Participate in treatment planning, QA, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other therapists.
• Support student education and clinical objectives as appropriate.
• Maintain required professional credentials and regulatory standards.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while communicating with patients and families.
