Qualifications

• ARRT‑T – ARRT Radiation Therapy; BLS – Basic Life Support or ARC‑BLS – American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS‑I – Basic Life Support Instructor.
• Minimum 2 years in Radiation Therapy. Preferred – graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Quality Control monitoring.
• Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area.
• Documents appropriately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Reports adverse reactions to physician immediately and follows policies and procedures for documentation.
• Educates patient/family on expected side effects and use of blocks, wedges, and other treatment aids.
• Follows physician prescription and physicist instruction in chart or computer for precise treatment.
• Schedules patients appropriately and informs them of any changes prior to implementation.
• Participates in on‑call rotation.
• Serves as a student clinical instructor with RTT and RTR students; evaluates students and provides feedback to Clinical Advisor.
