Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a maintenance technician to service mobile equipment and crushing plants. You will perform repairs, troubleshoot electrical systems, and follow manufacturer guidelines to minimize downtime on a busy production site.

Applicants should have at least two years of mobile equipment experience, be able to read and record maintenance data, and be prepared for routine safety checks including MSHA training.

Qualifications

• Two years previous experience with mobile equipment and aggregate crushing.
• Read, write, and compute skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with manufacturer representatives or outside technical advisors.
• Welding and technical training preferred.
• MSHA training required prior to performing duties.
• Must pass physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Crushing maintenance including splicing belts, replacing rollers, drive belts, gear boxes, electric motors, etc.
• Mobile equipment maintenance including factory lights, backup alarms, hydraulic systems, brakes, etc.
• Diagnose and repair electrical components.
• Operate heavy equipment to diagnose problems.
• Utilize operating manuals to implement manufacturers recommendations.
• Utilize latest software for equipment diagnosis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make recommendations to improve efficiency and run time.
• Maintain and repair mobile equipment, stationary crushing plant, and portable crushing plant

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Two years previous experience with mobile equipment and aggregate crushing
• Perform all jobs in a clean and orderly manner
• Strive to perform repairs in a safe and timely manner within a production driven environment
• Ability to read, write, and computer skills related to maintenance tracking and reporting
• Ability to coordinate with manufacturer representatives and or outside technical advisors
• Welding and technical training preferred
• MSHA training will be required prior to performing work duties
• Must pass physical, drug screen, and background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires the ability to bend, kneel, crawl, climb, twist, push, pull, stand, walk and perform repetitive motions. Job may require extended periods of time in the same position. Work will typically be performed in outdoor conditions in a wide variety of temperatures and weather conditions. Jobs may require working off ladders or other elevated surfaces and the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
