Accountabilities

1. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security in the software development lifecycle.
2. Lead threat modeling and risk assessments early in the development process to proactively identify vulnerabilities.
3. Perform security reviews and testing for new features, ensuring robust protection from potential threats.
4. Drive incident response efforts and root cause analysis to strengthen product security posture.
5. Educate and mentor teams on security best practices, helping to build a security-first culture across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience in product and application security for APIs, web, and mobile platforms.
• Skilled in threat modeling, secure SDLC practices, and the use of tools such as SAST, DAST, and Burp Suite.
• Hands-on expertise with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with ambiguity.
• Bonus: Experience securing AI/ML products, fintech knowledge, or red team/penetration testing background.
