Duties

• Instruct preschool students in activities designed to promote intellectual, physical, and creative growth.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and co-workers.
• Communicate with parents about students' growth and progress.
• Maintain the health and safety of all students.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for an 8-hour shift, 5 days a week.
• Previous experience in childcare or teaching is a plus.
• Passion for working with children.
• Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
• Positive, patient demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in creating and implementing curriculum.

Nice to Have

Preferred qualifications include:

• AS or BA in ECE.
• OR an AS or BA in a related field with 12 ECE credits.
• 12 ECE credits with a Head Teacher certificate.
• CDA credential.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
