What You'll Do

As our Pre‑K Teacher, you'll help children build the academic, social, and emotional foundations that prepare them for kindergarten while preserving the joy of childhood.

• Create engaging, play‑based learning experiences that promote literacy, math, science, art, and social‑emotional development.
• Foster children's independence, problem‑solving, creativity, and confidence.
• Observe and document children's learning to guide curriculum planning.
• Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication.
• Create a warm, organized classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and included.
• Lead the MJP graduating class and support the children and families in this monumental milestone.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create meaningful learning experiences across the school.
• Participate in professional learning and continuously refine your teaching practice.
