Job summary

Micah Children’s Academy is hiring a full-time toddler teacher for ages 1–2. Work hours are 9:00–5:30 with a 30-minute lunch, in a joyful, play-based program. You’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to growth, playful exploration, and a loving learning environment.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of early childhood development, a passion for safety and exploration, and a team-focused mindset. We offer guaranteed hours, and opportunities for advancement along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old.
• At least six months of experience at a licensed early childhood education center preferred.
• Pass background check.
• Complete CPR and First Aid training within 90 days (if not certified).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a teaching team to create a warm, enriching, supportive environment.
• Engage in developmentally appropriate practices with children aged 1–5 in our extended-day program.
• Manage extended-day activities and operations to ensure a safe, nurturing experience for every child.
