Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pre-K Daycare Teacher to join our team at Little Rainbow Daycare. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, focusing on teaching preschool-aged children. The Teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where children develop essential academic, social, and emotional skills.

Duties
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children.
  2. Plan and lead engaging, interactive lessons supporting cognitive, language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.
  3. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  5. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress and development, using observations and documentation for instructional planning and individualized support.
  6. Implement positive behavior management strategies and teach conflict resolution and social skills.
  7. Plan and supervise educational and enrichment activities, including field trips, special events, and guest speakers.
  8. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate learning across subjects and ensure continuity in children's educational experiences.
  9. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field (required).
