Location: Norfolk Plant

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 4x10 (days)

Full Job Description for Experienced Powder Coat Painter

TST Fab & Machine are looking for a skilled Powder Coat Painter who will be responsible for the application and coating of various sized metal parts in our Fabrication Shop.

Job Duties & Description:

  1. Ensure parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards.
  2. Pretreat, clean, mask, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed.
  3. Perform required quality checks.
  4. Operate warehouse machinery and equipment as needed.
  5. Read blueprints and orders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School Diploma/GED required.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of powder coating experience.
  4. Comfortable following all the company's policies and safety regulations.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability/experience with wet spray application.
  2. Ability/experience with powder coat application.
  3. Ability/experience with prepping metal parts for coating.
