Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is hiring an experienced plumber for residential service in New Jersey. You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install water treatment systems, and maintain a well-stocked service truck. A sign-on bonus up to $6,000 is offered along with bonus opportunities.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of residential plumbing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime when required.

Qualifications

• An experienced plumber with at least 5 years experience in residential service.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to treat customers with respect.
• A deep understanding of plumbing equipment.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the role.
• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of U.S. driving experience.
• Ability to work late when required.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing customers to provide a customized solution to fix the issue at hand.
• Lead in the plumbing field to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide customers with solutions for plumbing and water treatment systems.
• Follow-up with existing estimates to convert them into sales.
• Diagnose leaks, drain clogs, no water, no hot water, and low pressure.
• Repair or replace pipes, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, disposals, drains, valves.
• Highlight warranties, company longevity and financing options.
• Install water treatment systems and gas piping where needed.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and stocked company truck.
