Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Plumbing Apprentice Technician to join our team at Z PLUMBERZ. This role is ideal for individuals preparing to take their Journeyman Test and advance towards a Journeyman Technician position.

As a Service Technician, you will learn to diagnose and repair essential plumbing service calls and operate plumbing calls that do not require a Licensed Journeyman Plumber.

Responsibilities include:

• Working alongside Master and Journeyman plumbers to develop necessary skills
• Obtaining an active Apprentice Registration License
• Training and completing Z PLUMBERZ Sewer and Drain Specialist Certification
• Participating in ongoing training in our state-of-the-art facility
• Performing plumbing, sewer, and drain tasks using your own ZPLUMBERZ work van

Job Duties

• Participate in maintenance, repair, and installation duties
• Operate relevant hand tools, power tools, and equipment
• Perform manual labor and maintain tools and vehicle

Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, codes, and standards
• Skilled in installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Ability to estimate time and materials; excellent communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED; background checks required

Compensation and Conditions

• $15.00/hr - $24.00/hr, full-time, benefits included
• 40+ hours per week, with potential for additional hours
• Work mainly outdoors and in warehouses, with weather considerations
