Job summary

Westfield Electroplating Company is seeking a skilled hardcoat plater to join our first shift team. Candidates should have solid knowledge of anodize electroplating techniques and be able to work with precision.

Strong math and blueprint-reading skills, ability to measure thickness with micrometers, and the capacity to work independently are required. The role emphasizes reliability, self-motivation, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hardcoat plating.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• Must be able to use micrometers to verify thicknesses.
• Must be able to calculate surface area of normal shapes.
• Must be able to handle delicate parts without causing damage.
• Must understand the concepts of blue prints and drawings.
• Have the desire and capacity to read and learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate hardcoat plating processes as part of the first shift team.
• Verify thicknesses with micrometers to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for correct fabrication.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in plating operations.
• Work independently, stay motivated, and communicate as needed.
