Job summary

Ulliman Schutte Construction, LLC is hiring experienced Pipe Layer to join our field team in Dayton, OH. You will work outdoors on large diameter pipe installations, read blueprints, and coordinate with the project Superintendent to prioritize tasks.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of pipe laying experience; a high school diploma or apprenticeship is preferred. We value safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades.
• Knowledge of pipe, joints, aggregates, etc.
• At least one year experience as a Pipe Layer.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations.
• Prep ground, cut/align pipes, and seal joints.
• Work with project Superintendent to prioritize work.
• Use concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers.
• Outdoor work with all types of weather.
