Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter in commercial or industrial environments.
• Proficient in pipe installation (steel, copper, PVC, cast iron).
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, piping isometrics and specs.
• Familiarity with rigging, threading machines, grooving tools, and related equipment.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes to exact specs with hand and power tools.
• Install and assemble pipe systems, supports, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic/steam systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specs.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks via air tests or hydrostatic tests.
• Perform repairs and adjustments to piping systems as needed.
• Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and other trades to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and industry best practices.
