Job summary

PERMA-PIPE is seeking an experienced pipe welder at our Lebanon, TN plant. The role focuses on fit and weld, measuring and cutting pipes to specification and operating welding machinery to ensure quality joints.

The ideal candidate will have Mig and Tig welding experience and be able to pass a 6G welding test. This is a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing environment requiring attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Mig and Tig welding experience required.
• Must pass Mig and Tig welding test in the 6G position.

Responsibilities

• Clean pipe ends for welding using grinder to remove rust and varnish.
• Operate pipe bending machine with fixed panel on a stand.
• Operate Tecnar welding machine and monitor via joystick for weld head control.
• Set up machine parameters on a touchscreen monitor.
