Responsibilities:

1. Drive our state-of-the-art 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to scheduled appointments in the Oklahoma City area – equipped with the latest insulation technology to ensure you can work in comfort all year long.
2. Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.
3. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement.
4. Conduct thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicate any concerns to the pet owners.
5. Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products for home care.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained.
7. Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Key Pet Groomer Requirements:

1. A love of animals!
2. 3+ years of pet grooming experience (required)
3. Grooming license for any areas we service (required)
4. Self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously
5. The services for dog and cat grooming are up to acceptable breed standards as well as any client requests we may come across. This includes (but is not limited to): cutting, bathing, nail clipping, and finishing services.
6. Managing a digital schedule via smartphone
7. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitary environments for the pets in our care
8. Upholding and maintaining the Furry Land vehicle and property
9. Ability to communicate effectively with clients
10. 21 years old to drive a van and a valid state driver’s license
11. Must pass a criminal background check
12. Ability to lift to 75 lbs and/or heavy dogs temporarily

Job Types: Part-time/Weekends

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day

Expected hours: 10-20 hours
