Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Meet the requirements for employees providing direct client care
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Pass an FBI background check
• Provide a negative TB test
• Comfortable working with male and female clients
• Ability to lift, pull, and push clients up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, transferring)
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Household chores (mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry)
• Providing showers, bed baths, or sponge baths
• Assisting with toileting and brief changes
• Providing companionship
• Willing to travel 10-15 miles

Working Environment:

Primarily works in clients’ residences, with travel required. Serving Northwest Orange County and parts of Seal Beach / Huntington Beach. Shift times and days vary based on client needs.
