Job summary

Phoenix Home Care in Marshfield, MO is seeking an immediate caregiver to join our team providing one-on-one home care for special needs children. Part-time hours are available and pay starts at $16 per hour, with opportunities for flexible scheduling.

As a caregiver, you will support activities of daily living, provide companionship, and monitor health and well-being. Training is provided, and we offer employee benefits for PT & FT positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients with higher acuity needs: transfers, feeding, monitoring.
• Light housekeeping and medication reminders.
• Run errands as needed.

A few daily tasks may include:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (Bathing, Dressing, Grooming)
• Provide Companionship and Emotional Support
• Support Clients with Higher Acuity Needs, Including:
  • Transfers (use of gait belts, Hoyer lifts, etc.)
  • Feeding Assistance & Meal Preparation
  • Monitoring and Reporting Changes in Condition
• Light Housekeeping
• Medication Reminders
• Running errands
