Taylor Davis Landscape & Construction is a leading provider of landscaping and construction services in the Amherst area. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, we specialize in a wide range of projects, including landscape design, hardscaping, paving, and concrete work.

We are currently seeking a skilled Operator with a background in paving to join our paving crew.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, such as pavers, rollers, and skid steers, and possess strong knowledge of paving and concrete techniques OR have experience laboring for a paving crew.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to pavers, rollers, skid steers, and other machinery as needed.
• Perform paving and concrete tasks according to project specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of worksites, including grading, excavation, and site layout.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance as necessary.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in paving or concrete work.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and machinery.
• Strong understanding of paving and concrete techniques, materials, and processes.
• Valid OSHA-10/Hoisting license
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to Amherst for the hiring process.
