Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Paralegal in Missouri to support a busy legal team. You will assist lawyers with drafting, research, filing, and case management from inception to resolution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience, an ABA-approved certificate, and strong research and organizational skills. This role emphasizes compliance, document review, and litigation support in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution or equivalent.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance to lawyers including drafting documents and conducting research.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution with organized files and deadlines.
• Stay current on laws and regulations and advise the legal team accordingly.
• Review and summarize contracts, pleadings, and discovery requests; draft memoranda and briefs.
• Provide litigation support including trial prep and exhibit organization.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure proper case management and compliance.
