A leading healthcare staffing agency is currently seeking an experienced ARNP or PA-C for an ongoing contract position in Monroe, WA. You will work in a corrections environment to maintain the health of the adult male incarcerated population. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, patient evaluations, and ordering laboratory studies. Candidates must have current Washington State Licensure and BLS certification. Job Description:

Maxim Healthcare in Seattle is currently seeking an experienced ARNP or PA-C who is interested in an ongoing contract in Monroe, WA. This position operates in a corrections environment; your imperative position would be to maintain the health of the adult male incarcerated population.

• Contract- Ongoing (Potential for Temp to Perm)
• Day Shift: 8-Hour Days, Monday-Friday (4-10s also available if preferred)

Compensation:

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physician in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and services for quality patient care; record the normal and abnormal data for review by the physician.
• Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations; write progress notes; prepare patient workups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings; obtain psychosocial history relevant to patient care, and assume responsibility for developing therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Order and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
• Carry out therapeutic procedures such as cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes; monitor progress of patients, report progress to supervising physician, and maintain record of each patient's progress, consulting with supervising physician when patient's progress does not meet anticipated and/or predetermined criteria.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Corrections Medical Center strongly preferred!
• Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency or Family Practice preferred but not required.
• Current Washington State Licensure; Work requires completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or PA program.

• Other requirements include: Current TB Test or chest x-ray, Clear criminal background screening, Completion of all Maxim screening requirements, Current physical exam
