Job description

We are seeking a technician to join our production team. Experience in orthotic manufacturing is required. The position requires the ability to work on a team, have good communication with team members and supervisor, as well as be able to complete multiple tasks for meeting deadlines. Your success will be measured by your ability to learn new skills, a positive attitude, precision and accuracy in completing customer order specifications.

We are looking for individuals that can work in a fast-paced production environment, be a self-starter who is comfortable in learning new tools and has a passion for producing a quality product.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Orthotics experience is necessary, compensation based on level of experience.

Job Details:

  • Grind/finish custom orthotics, using grinding and buffing wheels
  • Repair, modify, or maintain custom orthotics, according to specifications.
  • Cover or pad plastic orthotic shells, using coverings such as rubber, leather, felt, or foam.
  • Ensures the best possible fit, function, and cosmetics of products and services.
  • Work with common orthotic tools, both power and hand.
  • Receive verbal and written instructions from qualified staff as to the production of custom orthotics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate with outside sources regarding the fabrication of devices.
  • Process daily package shipments and other duties as assigned.
