Expedition Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics in Springfield, MO is seeking an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant to support our three Southwest Missouri offices (Springfield, Nixa, Republic) four days a week, 8am to 5pm. • Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing brackets, archwires, and bands.
• Take accurate scans/impressions of patients' teeth for the creation of orthodontic appliances.
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for appliance care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment charts, progress notes, and digital imaging.
