Job summary

Smile Loft Dental is seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our Maryland practice group. You operate while we provide patients, offices, staff, and support, with scheduling arranged for efficient surgical days.

We offer consistent case demand, room to grow, strong compensation tied to production with a guarantee during the first months, trained surgical assistants, and comprehensive administrative support across multiple Maryland locations.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD with completion of an accredited OMFS residency.
• Active Maryland dental license.
• Maryland sedation permit or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience with implant placement and grafting.
• 3 years of post-residency experience preferred.
• Comfort working within a multi-provider environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical extractions, third molar removal, and alveolar surgery.
• Place dental implants and perform bone grafting and site preservation.
• Administer sedation as credentialed and as permitted at each location.
• Work on a rotating schedule across our Maryland locations, set in advance and clustered geographically.
• Coordinate with our general dentists on implant planning and restorative sequencing.
• Manage post-operative care alongside the general dentistry team.

Smile Loft Dental is an established and growing dental group with 10 practices across Maryland's Baltimore-DC corridor - and more on the way. We are looking for an oral surgeon who wants full surgical days without the overhead of running a practice. Our scheduling team builds your day around surgical efficiency, and our clinical teams handle setup, instrumentation, and turnover.
