Job summary

AHMC HealthCare is seeking a Staff RN to provide specialized care in a high-acuity NICU setting. The nurse will be responsible for a designated group of patients during a shift, applying the nursing process, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a California RN license, BLS Level C, NRP certification, and at least one year of level III NICU experience with ventilated infant care.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• One year level III NICU nursing experience to include care of the ventilated infant.

Job description

The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
