Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner with Neurosurgery and/or Neurocritical Care experience to join the Neurocritical Care Team in Fort Worth, TX. The NP will handle incoming neurosurgical patients via ED/Trauma and support inpatient beds overnight.

Position offers 12-hour shifts (days and nights) with rotating weekends, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits including CME, malpractice, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license required.
• Acute Care or Adult Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• Experience in critical care or neurosurgery; ICU/CCU experience required.
• Degree in NP program.
• Neurocritical Care APP experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Consults and follow-ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients; inpatient rounding and management as part of Neurocritical Care Team.
• Provide neurosurgical call support and expert neurological care to diverse brain/spine disorders.

NEUROSURGERY - NEUROCRITICAL CARE

NURSE PRACTITIONER

FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner experienced in Neurosurgery and/or Neurocritical Care. Practice at the full scope of your training and license by being a part of the Neurocritical care team as Neurosurgical call support. NP is responsible for incoming neurosurgical patients through ED/Trauma and support of in-house Neurosurgical patients overnight.

Position Details:

• Full time; Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekdays/weekends
• Consults & Follow ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients plus inpatient rounding - management of Neurosurgery patients as part of the Neurocritical Care Team

• Assist caring for a variety of neurological disorders
• Provide expert neurological care and innovative techniques to find the best solution for each patient with diverse disorders that attack the brain or spine

Requirements Needed to Apply

• Active Texas license
• Acute Care or Adult Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
• Experience in critical care or neurosurgery area; ICU & CCU required.
• Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies from an approved NP program
• Interest and experience as a Neurocritical Care APP are highly encouraged to apply
