Position Overview

C&S Wholesale Grocers aims to create the safest, most efficient, and customer-focused fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver, you will begin your career with training from a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT), who will provide coaching on the C&S Way, including company and regulatory standards. After completing the training, you will be responsible for delivering products and services, ensuring safety and timeliness in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Description

• Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck, eighteen-wheeler, box truck, etc.), applying knowledge from training and regulations to transport and deliver products safely.
• Load and unload (ambient or temperature-sensitive) products for 3-10 stops per day.
• Inspect, document, and ensure equipment is operational according to regulatory and company standards.
• Perform equipment inspections as required by regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel required: Yes.

• Store: Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse: Perishable (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse: Grocery (50F to 90F)

Skills

• DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
