Job description

Experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic
  • Pay Rate: $38.72 - $43.13 / hour ($1 hour shift premium)
  • Work Schedule: Alternating 3-12-hour / 4–12-hour work weeks on nights w/ every other Saturday night coverage. 4 days off every other week with no forced overtime.

$5000 sign-on bonus! (based on performance and eligibility)

This is a full-time experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic position responsible for electrical and mechanical work across the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope), and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, pumps. Candidates should have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute through preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Mechanics must be versatile, operating equipment such as lathes, mills, welders for repair and fabrication.

If you lack extensive experience, consider applying for entry-level positions suited to your current skills. A hands-on electrical skills test will be required prior to the in-person interview.

Work varies daily based on needs, and hours depend on location. Conditions can be loud, hot or cold, and warehouse environments are affected by weather.

Our Maintenance team specializes in:

  1. Deep high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
  2. Multi-craft maintenance and repair (electrical and mechanical)

If you are comfortable with high-voltage wiring and multi-craft repair, you are encouraged to join us. Daily tasks include:

  • Assisting entry-level mechanics
  • Working under pressure to repair equipment
  • Troubleshooting a variety of machinery
  • Conducting repairs and ensuring equipment efficiency
  • Responding to maintenance calls and completing repairs
  • Inspecting machines, developing repair plans

Qualifications include:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15-50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, kneel, and stretch for extended periods
  • Willing to work in extreme temperatures and loud, hazardous environments
