Job summary

GCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Pueblo, Colorado facility to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment following safety processes. You will construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants and provide maintenance and repair on all equipment in a timely manner.

Maintenance tasks include welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems, plus equipment inspection per schedule and safe, orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years millwright mechanical experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of concrete and sand/gravel plant components.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants; maintain equipment promptly.
• Perform welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air system maintenance.
• Inspect and report equipment per schedule; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Work in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws.
• Support site goals through reliable maintenance activities.

Required Experience:

What you will do:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to company safety processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

• Construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants and provide maintenance and repair on all equipment in a timely manner.
• Perform all maintenance operations (welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems) in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment such as feed systems, conveying systems, scrubber systems, shaker systems, classifying systems, discharge hopper systems, weighing systems, cement storage systems, central mixer systems, load-carrying systems, drive systems, water systems, air systems, electrical systems, crusher systems, hydraulic systems, recycling systems, structural systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Inspect equipment in accordance with the company's Prescribed Inspection Schedule and complete equipment inspection and reports.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State coal mining laws and Company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
