Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development at Albany Medical Center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and NY medical license or eligibility.
• Successful completion of a MIGS fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care pathways with imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, and oncology.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
