Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to understand each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Administering psychometric tests and structured interviews to evaluate psychological conditions and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with children, families, and fellow team members to foster a trusting and healthy therapeutic environment.
• Collaboratively creating individualized treatment plans with clients and their families, employing evidence-based strategies to support their mental health goals.
• Providing ongoing support and education to families about enhancing their child’s development, ensuring they are equipped with valuable skills and insights.

Qualifications

To be considered for this vital role, you should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Active licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in providing psychotherapy and employing solution-focused techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for effective documentation and billing practices.
• Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative in managing therapy sessions, paperwork, and client follow-ups.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications meet the basic requirements, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or practices.
