Experienced Medical Insurance Collection Specialist

AIS Healthcare is a leading provider of Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD) and Infusion Care, committed to advancing quality and improving lives through innovative solutions and excellent patient care.

We are seeking motivated Accounts Receivable Collection experts for a full-time role responsible for collection processes related to TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• 3-5 years of medical billing and collections experience required.
• Experience with Home Infusion or Intrathecal Pain Management is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on invoices to ensure prompt payment.
• Evaluate payments and denials for correctness.
• Identify and process bad debt write-offs and adjustments.
• Investigate overpayments and duplicate payments.
• Process refund requests.
• Collaborate with other departments for claim information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates.
• Troubleshoot payment discrepancies and document calls.
• Maximize claim reimbursements and resolve denials within 5 days.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, billing procedures, and regulations.
