Job summary

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Biller to join our Patient Financial Services team in Hendersonville, NC. This full-time clerical role focuses on billing and claims processing across the organization to ensure timely payments and accurate posting in our EHR system.

The Biller will handle claim submissions, monitor denied or unpaid claims, and support related PFS activities. A high school diploma and 5+ years of medical billing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience in medical billing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Experience with multi-line phone systems, copier, scanner, fax, and other office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Bill claims with the appropriate insurer.
• Monitor and correct unpaid claims.
• Post insurer payments in the EHR system.
• Post electronic payments for various Blue Ridge Health departments.
• Support other PFS areas and functions as needed.
