Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse for Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA. The role covers 24-hour Day shifts, every other weekend and holiday commitments, located at 1153 Centre Street.

The RN provides patient care per Nursing Standards, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while promoting Patient and Family Centered Care in a high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• BLS required.
• Medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards.
• RN must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
• Must demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
• Must be able to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• RN with 4 East Experience with Stroke Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; participate in care coordination.
• Uphold the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in a best-practice environment.
• Directly report to a nurse manager or supervisor and collaborate with care teams.
