Job summary

Anderson Columbia Co. Inc. is seeking an Experienced Mechanic in Texas to perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical handling equipment.

The role requires 5 years of gas and diesel engine repair experience, a valid driver license, and the ability to work 10–12 hour shifts Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Starting pay is $20 per hour DOE with after-hours benefits. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screens and physicals and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willing to work 10-12 hour shifts Monday–Friday, with the occasional Saturday.
• Special consideration for CDL licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment.
• Perform emergency mechanical repairs to failed material handling systems.
• Identify and locate required repair parts for failed systems.
• Maintain accurate record keeping such as: work orders, time sheets, and parts requests

Pay Rate - Starting at $20 / Hour DOE*

Requirements -

• 5 yearsof experience with both gas and diesel engine repair.
• Must have basic set of general tools

• Experience utilizing machines/equipment as follows: hand tools, drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, cutting torch, hydraulic gear puller, electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and platform lifts.

*Special Consideration for applicants who posses CDL Licenses.
